“Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all who are in need. Open your mouth, decree what is just, defend the needy and poor.”      Proverbs 31: 8-9

Our political system is actively perpetrating harm by separating families and criminalizing asylum seekers. Our silence makes us accomplices to these inhumane policies, and so we must speak up and demand change.

Creator, give us the courage to denounce injustice.
