“Injure not the poor because they are poor, nor crush the needy at the gate; for the Lord will defend their cause.”

Migrants are knocked down by the weight of poverty, violence and lack of hope. Exhausted and spent, they wait at our borders hoping for the due process mandated by asylum laws.

Creator, help us to intercede on behalf of those who have fallen under the weight of our indifference and are being denied justice.
